the breakfast was enjoyable with variety of fine options. the location was marvellous, not too far away from a historic military fortress.

Double room we stayed at was huge with extra beds & air conditioning. The setting was PERFECT, right by all good restaurants, Galle Fort and attractions in the Galle Fort area. We had lunch in The Original Rocket Burger, located nearby.

The location within the old Fort area was perfect. The hotel was situated on a peaceful street known as Lighthouse street. The cleanliness of the room was fantastic and the hotel facilities were great. The owner went above and beyond to help me with transportation, even driving me to the train station for my early morning departure. The staff were friendly and the breakfast provided was delicious.

The location was marvellous and unbeatable, for example, a historic military fortress was approx 10-15 minutes' walk from the hotel.

Nice meals with cool drinks. The really kind and friendly staff and their quick responses to my needs. Marvellous and lovely location - just close to Dutch Church Galle. Short walk to all good restaurants as well as centre of old Fort area.

We loved the central location with amazing restaurants and shops. The hosts were the best part, going above and beyond to help with anything we needed. Marikar was kind, funny, and even helped us post a package and get on an early train. Thank you again for everything!

Great stay! Comfortable and clean room. Perfect location, close to shops and restaurants but on a quiet street. Owners were very nice and accommodating, enjoyed talking to them about our travels.

Bathroom was very small and also served as the shower. Room was a bit tight for sleeping four people and had low ceilings.

We felt like part of the family during our stay. The owners were incredibly welcoming and we had some great conversations with them. They even gave us small gifts when we left. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the old town. And the coffee shop next door was a great spot for a morning pick-me-up.

We had some cleanliness issues in our room initially, which took a couple of attempts to resolve. Also, there were some unwanted guests of the cockroach variety, which was not pleasant.

The owner of Lighthouse Guest was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. They went above and beyond in ensuring my transportation needs were taken care of. The location of the guesthouse in the Fort area was superb, and the air conditioning in my room was a welcome relief. The highlight of my stay was watching monkeys play on the roof across the street.
